VENICE BRICOLE

This UNIQUE product is derived from the recovery of the old ‘Bricole Veneziane’, i.e. groups of three poles that in the lagoon canals delimited the navigable areas and provided a series of important information to sailors.

The “Bricole” (made of ancient oak wood) throughout their journey after recovery are carefully selected, restored and assembled by skilled artisans who, respecting the techniques and products of the past, extract the original flavour.

Since these materials have a special history and origin, having been immersed in seawater and exposed to the atmospheric agents of the Venetian Lagoon for many years, the products obtained from them offer qualities of resistance and stability superior to any other similar product but of different origin.

They can therefore present unique and unmistakable characteristics such as old nail holes, knots, marked veins, and insect and mollusc holes.
