B. House project pt. 2 – GHOST
ARCHITECTURE THAT FLOATS WITH OUR GHOST SLIDING SYSTEMS
A house with a strong character, designed by the prestigious architecture firm Pitsou Kedem Architects: it stands out for the precision of its lines, the balance between light and shadow, and a sequence of layered spaces that open the interior to natural light, while deliberately maintaining a detached relationship with the surrounding environment.
OUR MINIMAL GHOST SLIDING SYSTEMS
A play of contrasts: the tactile solidity of concrete and steel interacts with the ethereal transparency of the GHOST system. The recessed technology removes the visual impact of the frames, allowing extra-large openings to erase the threshold between interior and exterior.
The result is an architecture that appears to float, where space extends beyond all physical boundaries.
The solid architectural concrete façade defines a strong, introspective presence in relation to the surrounding context.
Against this compact mass, lighter and more dynamic surfaces emerge, where the dialogue between interior and exterior takes center stage.
It is precisely in this balance between solids and voids that our GHOST sliding systems assume a central role.
The profiles, reduced to the essentials, allow light to flow freely throughout the home, emphasizing the full-height spaces and highlighting the captivating play of light and shadow created by the upper skylights.
The result is a seamless visual continuity between the living area and the outdoor space: the frame does not interrupt the architecture, but amplifies it.
- Fully recessed threshold: the floor-level threshold integrates an invisible water drainage system, ensuring a seamless transition between interior and exterior without visual interruptions.
- Completely concealed frame: the top rail is recessed into the ceiling, and the vertical posts are perfectly integrated into the walls, leaving only the panel visible for an effect of absolute lightness.
- Shading integrated into the concrete: the screening system is fully embedded in the concrete structure, a complex detail that requires extreme precision in execution.
- Handle integrated into the wood: every detail is meticulously designed, with the handle recessed into the wooden frame, preserving the sliding system’s minimal elegance.
- Upper panels up to 500 kg: designed to move smoothly despite their size and mass, ensuring stability and safety.
- Electronic and automatic closure: the system incorporates automatic opening and closing functions, combining advanced technology with refined design.
In this project, the sliding system is not merely a technical component, but a true architectural element.
Its ability to connect spaces, bring in light, and lighten the built masses contributes decisively to the project’s identity.
A minimal solution that becomes the protagonist precisely through its discretion: slim profiles, expansive glass surfaces, and maximum design freedom for a contemporary architecture where light and transparency define the space.

The window and door frames in this project are entirely our own creation.
We design and manufacture them entirely in our facility, following a 100% Made in Italy process that embodies our identity and pride. From technical design to raw material processing, from assembly to final shipment, every production phase is managed in-house and subjected to our rigorous quality control.
